Centrally located, yet a world apart, Devonfield Inn is set on a 29 acre pastoral meadow shaded by graceful birch trees, with the rolling tapestry of the Berkshire Hills beyond. This 200 year old historic estate home has been graciously updated and is filled with fine antiques. It is sophisticated, yet comfortable and inviting.
Devonfield's upscale suites and bedrooms are all beautifully appointed, spacious and offer modern private baths. Quilts, down comforters, plush sheets, towels, CD players and TV/VCRS enhance every room along with handmade chocolates and bottled water. Many have wood-burning fireplaces, Jacuzzis and fine terry robes. For your comfort, the Inn is completely air conditioned and provides wireless Internet. The guest pantry is always open and is stocked with treats. There is a refrigerator and a microwave as well.
A fireside (fall and winter) candlelit gourmet breakfast is served on fine china accompanied by classical music. Breakfast includes a bountiful buffet followed by a specially selected hot entree served tableside each day.
Follow breakfast with a stroll through the flower-filled gardens, play a round of tennis, or take a dip in the heated pool, and then enjoy the best in cultural and recreational activities in all seasons. Or, just relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature, snooze in a hammock (or by a roaring fire), have afternoon refreshments or a complimentary cordial in the living room. Whatever you choose, you’ll find warm hospitality, relaxation, and rejuvenation to be the hallmark of your stay in this romantic country home.

Minimum Stays: Three nights for July and August weekends. Two nights for October weekends. Rates and minimum stays may vary for holidays and special events.
Check-in and checkout times: Check-in time is 3:00 PM and checkout is 11:00 AM. A late check-out may be arranged when possible for an additional fee of one half the room rate.
Extra Person: Rates are based on double occupancy. Each extra person in a room is $35 per night
Room Rates: Room rates do not include the 9.7% room tax.
Age Limit: Children over twelve are welcome. Inquire about possible exceptions.
Weekends: For the end of June, all of July, and all of August weekends are Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The remainder of the year, they are Friday and Saturday.
Deposit and Refund: A full deposit is required for one-night stays. A 50% deposit is required for two nights or longer stays. Deposits will be refunded only if notice is received by our office no less than 21 days prior to the intended date of arrival. A service charge of $35.00 per room will be deducted from the deposit. Guests who check out before the last day of the reservation will be required to pay for the days reserved in full. We realize that situations may arise necessitating cancellation within the 21 day limit, and do sympathize, however we must maintain our business policy due to limited season and high accommodation demands. A partial refund may be possible only if we are able to re-book the room(s). We must have a deposit on all rooms in order to guarantee the reservation.

| Devonfield's guest accommodations are all spacious, with private baths that include hairdryers and make-up mirrors, air-conditioning and heat, tv-vcr/dvd's (movies available from our video library), handmade quilts, down comforters, plush sheets and towels. Many of the rooms have wood-burning fireplaces and some have Jacuzzis and include fine terry robes. All rooms have complimentary cognac and locally, hand-made chocolates as well as bottled water. |

In the main house, public rooms include a spacious living room complete with grand piano, library, stereo, and fireplace, as well as a cozy television room, and a formal dining room and porch. Of course there's also a guest pantry that's always available for your use, and it's always fully stocked with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, popcorn and fresh baked cookies. The pantry also has a full-sized refrigerator should you choose to bring any special snacks or refreshments.

Tanglewood, The Norman Rockwell Museum, Jacobs Pillow, Shakespeare & Company, and so much more are all nearby. For the active adventurer, horseback riding, ballooning, downhill and cross-country skiing are all within minutes of the estate. Greenock Golf Club is across the road and Devonfield has its own tennis court and 20' X 40' heated pool for your enjoyment. Hiking, biking, fishing and kayaking are all readily available throughout the Berkshires.
Lee is still a "real" town with hardware stores, drug stores, a super market and a barber shop that has remained un-changed for 75 years! In addition, there are many shops of interest to visitors, gifts shops, antique shops, great local restaurants, and the Prime Outlets - home of 60 upscale and designer outlet stores. |
