Stratford Established October 1, 1890, Yosemite National Park is partly located in Tuolumne County. Although Yosemite Valley is just outside Tuolumne County, Tuolumne Meadows, located on Highway 120 leading to Tioga Pass is also visited by a large number of visitor who want to experience a sub alpine meadow and climb the dome which is located there surrounded by mountain peaks and Hetch-Hetchy, a reservoir in a valley considered a twin of Yosemite Valley. ...read more
