| Bed and breakfast Hawaii
|
| Created from millions of years of volcanic activity at the very center of the Pacific Ocean, the Hawaiian Islands seems to have been set adrift on the Ocean waves. Bed and breakfast on each of the Hawaii State Islands have a different charm and character, but all offer the opportunity to discover the beautiful Polynesian culture and landscapes that makes them so special and ensure visitors return year after year. |
| The best known of the islands is Oahu, with Honolulu the capital and the world-renowned surfing playground of Waikiki Beach with its glittering nightclubs, bars and award-winning restaurants conveying the customs and traditions of Polynesian hospitality. Climb to the top of the now extinct Diamond Head volcanic crater and look out over the metropolis below. Visit historic Pearl Harbour or drive through pineapple and sugar cane fields, past hidden coves and beaches, but don’t miss the preserved coral reef that offers superb snorkelling. The keen golfers can play the scenic golf courses that stretch into the rainforest mountains and along golden beaches, Oahu provides some of the most challenging holes in the nation. Wherever you stay you’ll find bed and breakfast in the Hawaii Islands, cosy, clean and charming.

Maui, blessed with its Majestic Haleakala, known as the ‘Valley Isle’ once the private retreat of Hawaiian Royalty, is a must for all visitors. Taking a spectacular helicopter ride over the Waimea Canyon and the rugged Na Pali cliffs coastline will leave you breathless! Drift lazily along the Wailua River to the romantic Fern Grotto; or visit the expanses of Lumahai Beach, the setting for ‘South Pacific’.

The Big Island is one of dramatic contrasts with lush rainforests and cascading waterfalls in the east, the coffee plantations, crystal waters and golden sands of the sun-blessed west and the macadamia nut orchards and is home to the only active volcano in the islands. Not to be missed, a tour of Volcanoes National Park, where an 11 mile drive encircles the still active Kilaueau Crater and for the experience of a lifetime, fly by helicopter over red hot lava flows and finally, a must visit is Dolphin Quest for a swim with the Dolphins.

Molokai is often called "The Friendly Island".
