Walt Whitman Spa Suite
" The Ultimate in Luxury." Features a private entrance, sitting room, large bedroom with a King size bed, wet bar, refrigerator, coffee maker, see-through gas log-fireplace for the bedroom and bathroom, cable TV/VCR, stereo, telephone with data port, and writing desk. Relax in the elegant bath with two-person Jacuzzi tub, and separate two-person steam shower. The Spa Suite has views of the gardens, waterfalls, and Koi pond.
Robert Frost Room
The Robert Frost Room, the original Master Bedroom, features a four-poster feather bed covered with plush pillows, down comforter and duvet. It is furnished with 18th century-style mahogany furniture including a period Chippendale desk Circa 1790-1820.
The room includes the original 1889 fireplace equipped with gas logs, cable TV and VCR, and the original Master bathroom with a china tub and shower. Spacious and romantic, this room is a perennial favorite.
Carl Sandburg Suite
named after North Carolina’s regional poet, has comfortable club chairs, a wrought-iron bed with plush pillows, down comforter and duvet. An added feature includes an adjoining sleeping porch with cable TV, VCR and 18th century Southern writing desk. The sleeping porch overlooks downtown Asheville with its dramatic backdrop of Mt. Pisgah. The newly remodeled spacious private bath features a relaxing Jacuzzi jet bathtub with shower.
Dorothy Parker Room
The Dorothy Parker Room, overlooking downtown Asheville, offers the simple elegance of Mission style furniture, and features a queen size bed covered with plush pillows, down comforter and duvet. In addition the room offers one of the original fireplaces dating back to 1889 equipped with gas logs and cable TV and VCR. The room also offers a shower/bath.
Emily Dickinson Suite
The Emily Dickinson Suite boasts the best views of the east lawn waterfalls, Koi ponds and perennial borders. Original Victorian furniture is featured throughout the room. The rice carved bed is covered with plush pillows, down comforter and duvet. The adjoining sitting room has a fireplace, cable TV and VCR and is a spacious room for relaxing, curling up with a good book or listening to the waterfalls.
WhiteGate Cottage
The WhiteGate Cottage provides a secluded romantic haven for your honeymoon or vacation getaway for two in Asheville, NC. Guest amenities include a 2-person Jacuzzi tub, separate large stall shower, and a gas-log fireplace in the living room and bedroom. The bedroom has a queen sized bed. The cottage is furnished with antique family pieces and is equipped with central heat and air, a phone, cable TV and VCR.
