Pets are not allowed inside of our home. Special arrangements can be made
for hunting dogs to stay outdoors during the hunting season.
Smoking is allowed only outside of our home.
Check in time is between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm on arrival date unless other
arrangements are made in advance. Check out time is 11:00 am on
departure date.
Reservations Policies
Deposit for half the total stay is required to hold the room reservation.
Balance is due upon checkin. Cash or credit cards are accepted for the
balance due. Checks will be accepted for the deposit only if sent 2 weeks in
advance of stay.
We hope you don't have to cancel your reservation, but if you do, your
deposit will be refunded, minus a $25 processing fee, if made 10 days in
advance.
Cancellations made within 10 days of your reservation cannot be refunded,
unless we find another guest for that room for those days. No exceptions. |

Prices reflect double occupancy
Our Summer Room has a king bed and jacuzzi tub for $135.
Our Winter Room has a queen sleigh bed and a double tiled shower with
massagers for $100.
Our Fall Room has a queen and a double bed, in room refrigerator, and
detached, private bath for $75. |

We provide a boat ride to guests, typically after breakfast, weather permitting.
The large common room includes a fantastic view of the lake, a pool table,
refrigerator, and microwave. We also have VHS tapes, DVDs, books and
games available for our guests to borrow.
The yard features a large fountain and waterfall area, apple trees, garden, a
porch swing, and a dock for sunning, fishing and swimming. An outdoor
firepit sets the perfect mood for star gazing. |

Fun Valley Ski Area is 2 miles south of our B&B and offers downhill
skiing, tubing and snowboarding. www.skifunvalley.com.
A 500 acre nature preserve is across the highway from our home and is
perfect for a walk, hike or cross country skiing. Hunting is allowed in certain
areas of the preserve.
The world famous Amana Colonies, featuring shops, wineries, and museums
of German heritage are 40 miles east on Interstate 80

No matter what favorite season is, Lake House Four Seasons has activities to
satisfy most anyone.
Winter Activities:
Skiing, tubing, and snowboarding at Fun Valley Ski. Hunting, snowmobling,
ice fishing, and cross country skiing are other activities you can enjoy. Bald
eagles frequent our lake November - March.
Spring and Summer Activities:
Several hiking/walking trails and a golf course are nearby. Fishing
and swimming from our dock is one of our many ammenities. Or just relax
by the lake and get to that book you have been meaning to read.
Guests are also treated to a boat tour of Lake Ponderosa, weather permitting.
Fall Activities:
Soak in the beauty of the fall colors! Several walking/hiking trails are nearby.
We provide a boat ride to guests typically through October, weather
permitting. Hunters are welcome and over 1000 acres of public hunting
grounds are nearby.
