Listed on the National Historic Register, we are located across from
Central Park. The magnificent three story residence, constructed in 1884, displays an ambiance of fine period furnishings and examples of exquisite hand craftsmanship. The neighborhood features America’s largest collection of Victorian homes, and is a wonderful step back in time. Come stay with us whether your travels are for business or pleasure.
The surroundings will transport you to the historical period of the Original owner, Vernon D. Price. A Louisville businessman and co-founder of Price and Lucas Vinegar Manufacturing Company, later went on to become president of the Evening Post.
The architecture of original construction and imported detailing is still visible today in the splendid front porch ceiling, magnificent stained glass windows, oak woodwork, and the intricately hammered brass hardware of the home.
Central Park has a total of 18 rooms and 11 fireplaces. The 7 guestrooms are decorated with period antiques and furnishings, yet contain many modern comforts. Each room offers telephone with a computer port, desk, TV/VCR, and private bath.
Guest can enjoy Louisville's Central Park as their "front yard".
