Named after the family that built the house, this room is a quiet haven with deep cobalt-blue walls, silk plaid curtains and warm tones in the tea-dyed Oriental carpet.
The fearing
If you love lots of extra space or if you're travelling with a family, this is the perfect space for you. The new condo, located about a half-block from the main inn, offers a private bedroom with a king-size bed, a full kitchen, beautifully furnished living room, two TV/VCRs, a queen-size air mattress to accommodate extra people and an expansive view of Manteo's waterfront and quaint shopping area. It's private, quiet and very popular with our guests.
The Featherstone
With its fireplace, soft green walls, thick Oriental carpet and tall Mission panel bed, this room is a favorite with guests.
The Kingfisher
This room is a great choice for business travelers with its large desk and sitting areas. But other guests say they love it because they feel like they can spread out and enjoy the gracious space. Sink into the down-filled sofa covered with lots of pillows and just relax!
The Mirabella
It's the perfect room for honeymooners or incurable romantics with its curtained canopy bed, bamboo furniture and touches of rose red. The adjoining suite is great for the kids with its TV/VCR and games or just for extra stretching out space for you two.
The Sandpiper
With two double beds, a large desk, ample bath, lots of floor space and a private entrance, this room is a popular choice for larger parties and those who want complete privacy. It's decorated in deep purples and greens and overlooks the main inn building.
