| The Christmas House is an 1889 Victorian featured in the book "Americas Painted Ladies", rated a AAA two Diamond Inn, voted Most Scenic View in Colorado by the Inn guests of America through Arrington's B&B Journal! Ouray offers a setting unique the Rocky Mountains: it sets surrounded by 12,13,14000ft mountains extending above timberline in a box canyon that has been the destination for those seeking its beauty for centuries. Many Waterfalls cascade from the near vertical cliffs that rest within the city limits. Hot springs bubble from many points in the city and many have been harnessed for the Ouray Hot Springs Municiple Pool. Ouray is surrounded by the Uncomphagre National Forest with many hiking & biking trails beginning right in town. The Victorian homes anbd businesses established with Ouray beginning in 1876, and are kept today, have won the entire town of Ouray the distinction of an National Historic District. The silver & gold mining history of the area has left a legacy of jeep roads that allow visitors to reach the very top of thew majestic San Juan Mountains. |

A savory breakfast with south-of-the-border flair! Huevos Rancheros Frittata features onion, bell pepper, mild green chile, herbs, colby jack cheese, topped with sliced black olives & even more cheese! Salsa comes on the side according to taste. This Tex/Mex creation is completed with Whole Wheat Toast & all the fixin's.

Our secret recipe for these Christmas House Belgian Waffles are crispy & light. The flavor of the day varies, depending on Mrs. Claus' pantry ingredients, and mood. Topped with warm, seasonal Fruit Compote. The snow on the housetop is Real Whipped Cream swirled high and sprinkled with a dusting of powdered sugar and cinnamon. Served with pure Maple Syrup and Sweet Cream Butter on the side.
