The beautifully restored Italianate home, built in 1790, is evidence both to the innovation and craftsmanship of our forefathers and a comfortable and modern Bed and Breakfast located in the heart of Bath's Historic District. Ideally located for access to Bath's many cultural attractions steeped in its rich ship building legacy and day trips to the beautiful rocky Maine seashore, The Packard House is the premier port for travelers to Mid-Coast Maine.
Directions:
Traveling North: Maine Turnpike to Exit 44/I-295 North (Brunswick, Boothbay, Coastal Region). Proceed to Interstate 295 North and follow signs to Brunswick; take Exit 28 (Bath/Brunswick formerly exit 22) and follow Route 1 to Bath (about 15 minutes after Exit 28). As you enter Bath on Route 1, take right lane to Historic District. At bottom of exit (traffic light) turn left onto Washington Street. One-half of a mile on the left is Pearl Street. Turn left, Packard House is first house on the right.
Traveling South: on Route 1 to Bath, take Downtown Bath Exit just off Carlton Bridge and bear to the left. Go to traffic light and turn right onto Washington Street. One-half of a mile on the left is Pearl Street. Turn left, Packard House is first house on the right. |

Policies:
- Check in time is after 3:00 p.m. unless other arrangements have been made. Check out time is 11:00 a.m.
- Cancellations within two weeks prior to arrival will be charged for one night's stay per room.
- Rooms are set for double occupancy. Additional guests in the Garden Suite will be charged $15.00 per guest.
- A 7% Maine lodging tax is added to our guests' statements. Gratuities are optional.
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, personal and traveler's checks and cash.
- Although we generally have a two-night minimum stay over weekends, national and religious holidays, the combination of certain days often results in one-night availability for Friday or Saturday night, so contact us to check availability.
- Children over 10 years old are welcome.
- We're sorry, but we cannot accomodate pets.
- Our rooms are equipped with various amenities including private baths, hair dryers, air conditioners, firm beds, non-allergenic pillows, CD/clock radios, and a selection of personal care products.
- Irons and ironing boards are available.
- Wireless internet is available.
- Smoking is permitted on the patio only. No smoking is permitted inside the house. |
