Located just 1 hour north of Boston, Cape Ann is easily accessible by car or train. Our B&B is handily found just 3 blocks away from Rockport’s train station.
Directions to Cape Ann and Rockport, MA are straight forward as outlined below. Cape Ann is at the end of Rte#128 North and is a handy 1 hour away from Boston, MA, while Rockport, MA is located on the tip of Cape Ann. The 4 towns comprising Cape Ann are Gloucester, Essex, Manchester and Rockport, MA. Please note on our directions that we have outlined driving directions to Rockport, MA as well as walking directions from Rockport's train station, whereas Rockport is the last stop on the commuter rail line from Boston. Lodging at the Tuck Inn is found a short 3 blocks from the train station in Rockport, MA on Cape Ann.
Salem, MA along with the towns of Marblehead, Beverly, Ipswich, Concord and Newburyport are just a short distance away from Cape Ann, and we are happy to provide you with directions to those towns as well. |

# Taxes and Misc: Additional 9.7% MA tax added to daily room rates. Rates are per room, based on double occupancy. Rooms 9 & B accommodate families of up to 4 which is calculated in the rate.
# Minimum stay: Two nights minimum in July, August and most weekends. Three nights minimum on holidays. Rooms 9, A, & B are reserved by the week during the summer (some restrictions apply).
# Payment: Deposit of one night's stay required, balance due upon check-in. We prefer cash or check, but also accept Mastercard and Visa for your convenience.
# Check-In/Out: Check in is 2-9 p.m. Check-out is by 11 a.m. Late check-ins must be prearranged with the innkeepers.
# Cancellations: Your deposit will be refunded with ten days' notice or if the room is re-rented for your entire stay.
# Parking: One car per room. After check-out, cars must be removed to accommodate incoming guests.
# Restrictions: For the comfort of all, pets are not allowed.

We serve a variety of 5 to 8 homemade breads, muffins, scones or biscuits every morning, as well as stewed rhubarb or applesauce. We complement the baked goods with a variety of cereals and homemade granola (muesli), a fruit platter, yogurts and a bottomless cup of coffee, tea, cocoa or juice.
Everything is made in our kitchen from scratch; no mixes, no convenience foods, no store prepared goods, - from scratch! |

| Cape Ann is extraordinarily diverse in the variety and amount of attractions and interesting things to see and do throughout the area. We also boast the distinct advantage of daily train service to Salem and Boston, MA. Geographically, we are fortunate to be little more than an hours' drive from the historical towns of Concord, & Lexington and we are handy to much more throughout Massachusetts as well. Additionally, our visitors are always surprised to discover how short a drive it is to Portsmouth, New Hampshire and the outlet shops of Maine - under 90 minutes. Consequently, Cape Ann and Rockport, MA in particular has become increasingly popular as a Vacation Destination. |
