The American River Inn is located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the Eldorado National Forest in Georgetown, California. It's easy to get here by taking SR 49 from either I-80 in Auburn or US 50 in Placerville.
From Sacramento ~ Take your pick:
(1) Take I-80 east toward Auburn and Reno.
In Auburn ~ Take SR 49 south (Elm Street) toward Coloma.
In Cool ~ Take SR 193 east (left turn) to Georgetown.
In Georgetown ~ Turn left on Main Street. We're at the corner of Orleans Street.
From San Francisco Bay Area ~ Take I-80 (US 50) east toward Sacramento.
From Los Angeles Area ~ Take I-5 or US 99 north to Sacramento.
From Redding and Northwest States ~ Take I-5 south to Sacramento. |
